I finally sovled the problem. After reading previous forums for solutions (which included running downtown to use a coffee shop’s wireless)...I simply downloaded the latest version of Booksmart. It worked perfectly with the new version.

Another item to check is your Blurb Login. Quite often people forget their correct login, because their web browser remembers it for them. Try logging into blurb.com with the username and password you are typing into BookSmart and see if your credentials succeed there first. If that doesn’t work then it would be best handled by filling out a Customer Support Form. Once this is filled out someone from Blurb will be in contact with you in one business day. -Ben Senior Technical Support Specialist

I had the same problem from trying to upload from a wireless dongle and also from a wifi cafe – and it proved impossible to get to the bottom of the problem. I tried a different browser (Firefox), disabling the fire wall, fiddling with proxy settings – to no avail. What did work was when I connected a cable broadband cable from a friend’s house. The message is that my service provider, Blurb and everyone else could not sort out this problem which others seem to have. My advice is to try a hard wired cable connection. Derek
