Booksmart adding unwanted pages

I have a 160 page book I’m working on. Today, Booksmart suddenly added 2 additional pages to the layout which will not delete. Any ideas<cite>?</cite>

Things I can think of is that you have a photo spread or locked pages for content reasons and when you added a page of content it adds 2 new pages to keep the spread together.  If you have a spread and want to keep it you will need to add one page somewhere before the spread and it will then allow you to delete the 2 pages it corrected.  I am new at Booksmart but this has worked for me.
