Import Word for Mac file in Publishing Layout?

I make photo books with “some text” but after playing with the Publisher View in MS Word for Mac 2008 for a while today, I think I would like to design some pages (including my covers) using the Publisher view in Word.

This would include multiple frames filed with images and/or text.

Will this work? If so, how do you import the file to Booksmart?
