Can't add more pix even though the number WON'T exceed max pages

I have already formatted much of my photo book, using around 202 photos  on 87 pages.  I’d like to add 92 more pictures, but it keeps saying that I’ll exceed the max number of pages of 240.  BUT, even if I made all 92 pictures a single page each (which I won’t), it will NOT exceed the max number of pages.  How do I get around this so that I can finish this book that I’ve spent ages on?  SO frustrated!!!
