Lightroom plug in does not republish edited photos

I use the plug in for LR3. Having edited a photo they show up in the upper part under Photos to be repulished. No matter how many times I press Publish now they do not clear from that box. I then went back to BookSmart and could see that the photo there was actually the edited one so obviously iit had transferred. But how do I get rid of them from the Photos-to-be-republished-box?
