BookSmart

Old and new book smart

Is there a way for me to move my book that I started in old book smart to the new book smart program without starting over?

Hi

It’s not possible to completely transfer a book plus layout to another format/size. You can use the "New book with this photo library" feature, which will save you having to add those photos to your book manually. It won’t, however, preserve your layout choices or transfer text.

I think you are reffering to downloading BookSmart 1.9 and being able to continue on the books you started, right?

There is an FAQ that addresses this question here:
http://blurb.custhelp.com/cgi-bin/blurb.cfg/php/enduser/std_adp.php?p_faqid=9

Basically, you can upgrade the software and your books should remain there.

To be clear – the new version of BookSmart can continue to edit books from older versions – but you don’t get the new templates.
