BookSmart

What fromat best for photo

I have done one book with MPIX but they required large size TIFF files to get acceptable resolution. Took hours to download. Can medium size or large size JPEG files be used to get adequate resolution and faster download time on Booksmark books. Egabbott

Hi there egabbott!

I would recommend maximum quality JPGs, or PNGs. The key is to resize the pixel dimensions to the dimensions recommended by the target image frame in BookSmart. If you however your cursor over the image frame in BookSmart, optimum image dimensions will appear. Hit those on the nose, or come close, and you’ll ensure maximum resolution (300dpi) with the leanest possible file size.

 Best regards and Happy Blurbing!
