BookSmart

line to indicate outside of page border

I have been struggling to figure out the following: I printed a proof print of a 10×8 inch book page format off of my printer. Originally, the printer printed the image with a thin black line around the edge of the page indicating the outside edge. Now, when I print more proofs this border/page edge is suddenly gone and I need it to be certain of my photo and text placement. How do I get that page-edge line back?

Hi there,

Just to follow up on this one… We’ve found a bug that is reponsible for he helpful outline appearing on some locally printed draft pages and not on others. The variable seems to be theme of the page.

Just to be clear, this in no way affects your bound-and-finished book, which will print exactly as it appears in BookSmart’s Preview Mode. This bug only pertains to local draft printing, and it has been catalogued. Hopefully a fix is on the way.

Please keep reports like this coming––they help us improve our software!

Best regards,
Jeremy
