no blurb logo

I am trying to delete the blurb logo (acc. to the help directions) but when I double click—nothing and when I right click—the correct menu does not come up so I cannot delete it.  This is for a client, so I do not want the blurb logo on it!  Help!

Have a look at Custom Logo Upgrade info found in Help search query.

How do I remove the Blurb logo from my book?

Here is the answer I found after conducted a search query – “No Blurb Logo” just like what your title says.

We know you love Blurb. We also know that sometimes you may not want our logo on your book. All standard Blurb books are printed with the Blurb logo on the copyright page and final page, but our Custom Logo Upgrade lets you add your own branding or go “logo-free.”

Here’s how you go logo free:
Click on the Blurb logo where it appears in your book.
Select “Use Custom Logo/No Logo” from the pop-up window.
Leave the area blank (do not add any image) and your book will be printed without a Blurb logo. (Note: This will affect your pricing.)

Also, when in BookSmart application, go to the Help menu. Once selected, it goes straight to Blurb FAQ search query, all you have to do is enter “no blurb logo” or any kind of search queries in future, into the search field. The Blurb FAQ (and also Search Blurb Forms) search has a reasonably competent descriptions of Custom Logo Upgrades/No Logo. There are different ways they can be generated automatically or manually if go a couple of venue of search queries.

Hope that helps.

pjoyphoto,

If you want of remove the Blurb logo on the copyright page, delete the page. You can make up your own page in its place. The very last page with the Blurb logo cannot be removed. That one is required unless you pay the additional per book charge.
