Keeping constant font color?
I have a book that is running about 200 pages. I am using white type on gray background, I think it was called darkroom layout. When I edit text, it adds the new text in in black, while the type I use is white. So, each character I type in, I have to go back, select all, and change it to white, if I want to ensure I have hit all instances. There doesn’t seem to be a way to lock the default font. A forum said you could lock a single font on one page, but it doesn’t say how. Is there no way to set this to proactively keep with the same font on the same page? THere are LOTS of characters on a page of 11 pt. font…

Howdy gregorama, You are correct—there isn’t a way to set the default font. However, if you are using similar page layouts, what I suggest is to format the text on one page exactly how you want it to print. Then, among the bottom row of thumbnails along the bottom of your BookSmart screen, copy and paste that page. Paste it as many times as you want, and then simply change the words. It’ll already be formatted to your desired font color and size. We hope to add better font controls in a future edition of BookSmart. Hope that helps in the meantime! Best regards, Jeremy
