Making pages in PS

Hello

 I was thinking of making a little book with all the pages made in Photoshop first

It’s about my photography and will be a 7×7 inch book 

Now I have a question, I was thinking of making all individual images with a resolution of 2100×2100 with 300 dpi

Will this turn out ok? I’m a bit afraid of the bleeding 

Especially because I will have photos that takes 1,5 page:

the left page is totally covered with a photo, but since the photo is rectangular, I’m gonna make it continue on the right page till about halfway, and thentype some text (also in photoshop) on the empty part of the right page

(confusing huh? I’m sure someone will understand)

Now will the left and right page align?

But in general, if I make a 7×7 inch photo it should come out nice on a 7×7 book?

Or will the edges be blurry or white or something? 

I read the blog with instructions about importing pages from PS.  My question is, can you do that with PS Elements 5.0 also?

Of course you can complete the page design in PS Elements. You will be saving the file as a high quality JPEG for importation into Blurb.

 If you design set up in PS is 2300×2300 dpi, then only about 3/4 in will "bleed" on to the adjacent page for the 7×7 book size. ( 7×7 size is 2063 pixels wide or about 6.9 inches at 300 dpi. Subtract this from 2300 and that leaves 237 pixels/ 300 = 0.77 inches.) 

That’s not much after taking into account the gutter.  Think you may want to consider designing the 2300×2300  image for a single page.
