Searching Tags
Has anyone else tested the ability of Blurbs search engine for finding “Tags” associated with book titles? I have been checking this out and it seems that when putting in a partial word to search, e.g. Arch for Arches, the engine does not find Arches.

Hi MlBoris – Nice catch. What you’re talking about is search "stemming" – the ability to return full word searches based on the fragment of a word. We currently support stemming on Book Titles, Subtitles and Descriptions. For instance, if I search for "soul fu" it returns your book "SOUL FULL…EMOTIONS" The one area we currently don’t support stemming in the bookstore are the tags, but we’re going to work on that thanks to your feedback. Thanks ‘Technical Support Guys”! You not only made my day with verification of what I was seeing but you also educated me about “stemming”. As you can imagine, this is a pretty important issue and I have all the faith the group there in San Francisco will take care of this with some urgency.
