BookSmart
Get PhotosHalf way through my third book & I suddenly am not able to ’Get Photos’ from my files. ( Vista O/S) When I click on ‘Get Files’ I’m repeatedly getting a Hiccup/Apologies box telling me… BookSmart has encountered a technical glitch & needs to close. Has anyone experienced this problem ?

Hello Crich, Not quite sure whats going on here, since it could be several things. Currently Booksmart is incompatible with extra hard drive partitions and external hard drives. It sounds like you might have changed your Pictures location from the default location, which can throw BookSmart into a tizzy. If this is the case I would recommend changing it back to the default location, and giving BookSmart a go. If you continue to experience difficulties, then I would suggest filling out a Customer Support Form and someone from Blurb will be in contact with you in one business day. Thanks Ben. Some files did get ‘moved around’ while trying to import images from a camera that Vista doesn’t fully support – & that is indeed when the trouble started. However files are now in order & the problem still persists - that is when I click on ‘Get Photos’, not only does the Apologies/Hiccup box pop up, but my book project (& BookSmart) disappears. I’ve filled out Customer Support Form – but am still waiting on reply. Thanks again: Crich

I’m having the same diffuculty right now with "Get Photos". My photo library doesn’t show up and I’m not able to continue editing the book I now am in the process of completing. Waiting for help,jojojo |
