Image Scaling ErrorWhile trying to upload my book. I get at photo 3 of 104 an image scaling error.. Blah blah \landscape\library\c98cc7365-cc23-47e3-adce-cc75c5845b4c.original. A reinstall in order? Or????

Hello BBerna; Why don’t you try deleting that ".original" file, and then re-load it… You will find it in the following directory; C:\Documents and Settings\[User_Name]\My Documents\BookSmartData\[Book_Name]\library ... where [User_Name] needs to be replaced with yours, and [Book_Name] needs your books project title… When you delete the file, your BookSmart’s "Imported Photos" display will show a blank icon. Delete that (by selecting it, and back-spacing), and re-import… That’s all I can think of… Good luck; Lee

Hello BBerna, I am sorry to hear about that error, and it is one I have not seen before. My initial suggestion would be to size the image in your favorite photo editor to the size shown in the tooltip, as well make the image a jpeg if its not already. If continue to experience this error I would suggest filling out a Customer Support form and possibly send a screen shot. Hope that helps. -Ben Senior Technical Support Specialist |
