Confusion over trim and bleed sizes
Am I being dim, or is there an anomaly on bleed and trim sizes for Standard Portrait format? Trim size (width) is specified as 200mm wide, and bleed size is specified as 200.1mm but should surely be 203.175mm following the suggestion that 3.175mm bleed should be added on the outer edge. I want to set up my own Photoshop files to import and need to know accurate bleed and trim sizes.

Howdy, In Photoshop, since it’s already a raster graphics program, it’s best to ignore millimeters and inches and focus on pixels. You’ll want to make your custom pages 2363×3000 pixels. Fill that area completely, but prepare for up to 4.76mm (3/16th of an inch) to be trimmed from any outer edge of the page. So, you’ll want to ensure crucial content, like faces or text, is more than 4.76mm from the edge of the page. Hope that helps! Jeremy
