BookSmart

book on powerpoint

I need to present my book at a children’s event and need to have it on a big screen. Is there a way to put my book into a PowerPoint presentation?

The only thing I can think of is to scan each page of your published book into your computer and then make your presentation with your scans.

Alternatively in BookSmart go to preview book and do a series of screen prints. You could paste those directly into Powerpoint but you’d get all the rest of the window showing as well. To overcome that you’d need to use Photoshop or similar to crop the screenprint to remove that gubbins before inserting into Powerpoint.

Messy, but doable.

Well if you’ve got a Mac you can use Shift+Apple+4 and create screen caps sized exactly the way you want. The cursor turns into little cross hairs and then you click and drag to surround the part of the screen you want to capture. When you let go a file is made.

A little less messy.
