2.0 - Unable to open my book in this new version!
Error message is: This file does not appear to be exported from BookSmart. I’ve made five books already, and I always back them up and export them out of BS properly. This last one is nearly done – I should have finished it before upgrading to V 2.0, but I was seduced by the promise of a 12×12 format! *sob* I’ve emailed technical support, but just wondered if anyone has had the same issue, and if so, could offer any suggestions of things to try, as it’s obviously the weekend and I don’t expect to hear back from tech support for about three days. My guess is the file name extention. I had a similar problem. Then I noticed that older backups had a file name extention of .book. The more recent backups had a file name extention of .bookexport I changed the file name to have an extention of .book and the book was found and open correctly.
