setting margins on text for importI am setting margins in my Word doc for import to a 5×8 book and setting my paper size to 5×8. I am setting them per Blurb instructions, i.e., .1 at the top and .9 at the bottom. Is this for Booksmart’s trim purposes? My pages now appear to have no room at the top and bottom for headers and footers or for a customary margin. (Blurb doesn’t say how to fill in the header and footer instructions in Word.) Do I then add my own margins in addition to achieve the right look?

Hi, Once imported into BookSmart, your margins will look correct. You’ll need to add your own headers and footers from within BookSmart though. I hope this answers your question. If not, please contact customer support and you’ll get help in a flas. – Kathy |
