Editing layouts breaks flowing text containers

Can anyone comment about whether this was fixed in this latest version 2.5?

Between the fact that editing a layout breaks the flowing text containers (even if you don’t touch the container itself, only a photo) and the very poor handling of text in BookSmart, the thought of putting together another volume of my blog in book form is disheartening. To put together a book with photos and text that is outside the provided layouts will be excrucuatingly painful to accomplish. Any reason why Blurb can’t make handling text easier? We aren’t all making strictly picture books here!

Any direction would be apprciated!

No. It breaks. There is no way to reattach the text containers once you have edited them.

It has got to be one of the most frustrating programs to edit text I have ever used, how hard can it be to get this right? especially after 6 years of doing business, it is literally making me not want to finish editing this book. Sort it out for gods sake!
