If you need help with BookSmart, please read

Welcome to the BookSmart forum: the place for authors to ask and answer questions about Blurb’s software. If you have a question about BookSmart, please search the site before posting a new thread in this forum (there’s a search box in the top right corner of all blurb.com pages).

If your question is more of a problem, meaning you’re stuck and require help to continue working, please see if that issue is addressed in this short list below.

—Crash/Freeze/Hang

—Can’t find existing book project (and/or the “Open Existing Book” option is grayed out when it shouldn’t be)

—Upload trouble

If the FAQ instructions don’t solve the issue, please contact Customer Support (the link is below, but please finish reading this post before clicking it). Including in your help message a link to the FAQ you’ve tried will allow our support representatives to reply with the best possible follow-up directions.

If the problem you’re experiencing isn’t on this short list, don’t worry. Please feel free to search the site (as shown above) as well.
