Locked BookSmart crashes

I have problem on the latest version, the 2.9.5 on a Macbook pro OSX with snow leopard.
It doesn’t open at all, it starts loading and then crashes… I tried reinstall, but same problem.

I have the SAME problem . I have done 3 books with blurb before but this is hell what is going on?

I have one good friend how knows computers very well and he cant also run program in my laptop. In my Mac Pro its works, but not in Macbook Pro.

I have the problem with version 3.0.4 on my iMac (Snow Leopard), I drag to my applications folder but it crashes when trying to open the application. Reinstallation didn’t help either.
