Changing book size for a blogger book - pictures gone

Today I tried slurping some blog pages to a new blurb book, which worked out fine – text and photos came in. Then I decided I would try changing the book size from large landscape to regular. When I made this change the text transferred to the new size but none of the photos transferred.

I am just experimenting with it so I have not invested a great deal of time yet, but wonder if this is typical? I would have thought that a size change would incorporate photos.
