13X11 > 10X8 Scale Factor
I’m just converting a 13×11 book to a 10×8 book. If anyone else needs it – scaling 74% seems to do it perfectly. :) But you have to do it per spread in InDesign… :/ ~Xarra

Has anyone found a more efficient way to do this? Like automatically, using a script? Also, are there any downsides to scaling? What I’m thinking is that 13×10 = 1:1.3 and 10×8= 1:1.25. So the top and/or bottom would have to get truncated by a few percent. I’m still learning InDesign so I’m not sure yet how to accomplish this.

Haven’t found a more efficient way of doing it so far. Group all your items and use the % scale factor to retain the setup of all picture/ text frames when scaling down to 74% then just tweak each page spread.
