lines appear around photos in pdf that aren't/shouldn't be there in InDesignI’m laying out a b/w photo book in InDesign (converted b/w photos to sRGB). The photos have no borders. When I export to pdf file to proof, each photo has a medium toned hairline border. Where is that hairline border coming from, and how do I get rid of it?

Do you have to have Adobe Professional to turn off the lines (what the FAQ said to do)? It’s not allowing me that option in my reader. Thanks! | |

Hi ifmarketing1, Adobe Reader 9 has the same options under Preferences > Page Display. You may need to de-select "Use 2D graphics acceleration" (if you’re on a PC) on that same tab to enable the "Smooth line art" option. -Craig | |
