Creating a PDF File
Hi, does anyone know if the BookSmart software allows you to create a PDF or any other type of file format that can be used to view in another program, or is the BookSmart software proprietary in that respect? In other words, I’d like to show someone else who does not have BookSmart the book I created . . . just wondering if that’s possible.

Hello cmem; YES, you can do this… If you have Adobe installed, just "Print" to pdf… Couldn’t be easier! Lee

Thank you Lee, but I have the print option, not the print to pdf otion… omalingue.

Hello omalingue; If you don’t have Adobe Acrobat, (and/or don’t want to buy it) just Google "free PDF maker"... (You could also download a time-limited trial/evaluation of Adobe for a one-off…) CutePDF is a reputable product… Once installed, "pdf" will appear in your drop-down list of available "printers", and you just treat it like a regular printer, except it creates a pdf file instead of a paper output… Cheers; Lee
