Hello hurtado;

This "sounds" like either a file format matter or a screen display problem…

Here’s my thoughts;

1. Check your file formats. BookSmart will accept  .JPG files (or – at a push .PNG files). All image files need to be "flattened" if you have worked on them in PhotoShop or similar. If they have not been flattened, (or converted from RAW) they will carry file extensions of either .TIF or .CR2 (or similar)...

2. Check to determine that your monitor is displaying 32bit colour. You can access the monitor management from the Control Panel.

If it’s neither of those two things, then I suggest you report a Technical Support issue to Blurb. You can access the submission form via the HELP pages…

Good luck;

Lee

I have the same problem.

Whenever I add photos to a page they turn black as do the thumb nail. They are all JPG in CMYK and they are large file.

The computer is a 24" iMac and I assume displays 32bit color.

The images are likely bigger than the intended spot but I assumed they could be croped here rather than in photo shop.

Problem is the CMYK. They want all your photos to be in RGB
