Non-default fonts

I notice that I am apparently able to use any fonts installed on my computer in my layout.

Does this mean that any unusal fonts that I might use for titles, headings and such, will become embedded and therefore appear as I want them in the finished book?

In the home printing trials I have attempted, these fonts do appear…...... but that is obviously because I am printing from my own computer where the fonts are installed.

Does anyone have any experience of this as I cannot seem to find a specific reference to this issue.

Yes.. I’ve used non-standard fonts and they print as advertised… Linotype Shelly and others are great via Blurb.. enjoy.

The fonts embed themselves into the file upon upload.  The upload file is a .pdf and it replicates layouts, fonts, etc. exactly.   So, if they are showing up on the screen and your local printer, should upload and Blurb Print just fine.

turnerd,

BookSmart doesn’t currently support OpenType and PostScript fonts. Here’s a FAQ with more information.
