Blurb Logo... How obtrusive is it?

I’m looking at printing 120 page large landscape books. In studying the FAQs I find that the Blurb logo is included on a back page and on the title page (if I’m understanding things correctly). The difference between a book with the Blurb branding and logo free for my size of book is $25. That might seem excessive and yet I understand the need for Blurb to advertise.

However I’m stuck with an aesthetic vs. economic decision which I can’t really make unless I can see the placement and design/colors of the Blurb Logo. Can anyone tell me where I can vue such graphics?

Thank you.

If you go to the Blurb Bookstore and preview one of the large landscape books most will have the logo on the second page.

The logo on the back page is the same size, a bit lower (1.25" from the bottom of the page) and centred rather than slightly offset to the right like the front one.

Thank you very much, Tony. I think I’ll leave the logo in on my first ‘proof’ copy and decide later prior to a large order.

Cheers!

welles,

You can delete the logo from the title page without any cost, the one on the final page is the one you have to pay to remove.

Hi!  How do you get rid of the logo on the title page?  When I click on it, I get the pop-up that tells me I can’t.

Just delete the title page, and insert a new blank page in its place, then add your title etc if you want it.

arg, I wish I had read this last night.
oh well, the first few copies I ordered were just proofs for myself.
though to make a new title page will mean ordering new books…

thanks for the tip =)
