Rest assured... I am Extremely Pleased!
I have spent countless hours preparing a book for my friends. I am almost a perfectionist; so you can believe that I was expecting to have to settle for a book that would be a treasure to them; yet not reflective of all the work I put into it.
However, it came today & is EXACTLY as I visualized it on screen.
<pre><code>The 120 page, 13 x 11 book was done entirely in Photoshop as 2 page spreads. Book smart was only used to import full spread bleeds.
Only the flaps had any untouched space. (Bruce, maybe the flap template could be made full bleed, too...)</code></pre>

I am very pleased to report:
The colors are perfect & consistant w/o any banding, smudging or other flaw.
The black & white photos are w/o any tint. The blacks are black & the whites are white. The contrast (using my photoshop compensation noted in the previous post) was very accurate.
The pages were trimmed squarely.
The binding is sewn SECURELY.
The only complaint I could voice is that the jacket is slightly dented.
The packaging was secure & snug in several layers of bubble wrap.
It took longer to ship than planned; but, I assume that was for quality control…
