Tips and Tricks

Add Drawings

Hello,

I tried to add an organizational chart but found no drawing tools in Blurb.  I then draw it in Powerpoint hoping to copy and paste into the Blurb book.  Unfortunately, this does not work.  The next thing I did was to save from powerpoint into a jpeg file hoping to treat this like a photo. However, the resolution was poos and was not suitable for use.

Has anyone managed to solve how to make drawings (not photos) in the book?  Doing in Word and copy and past also doesnt seem to work.

Thanks.

KK

Do you happen to have any kind of image editing application?

PowerPoint or Word apps are not “image editing” application.

Additionally, and most importantly, be sure to set all of your images to 300 DPI resolution and sRGB color profile.

Hope that helps.

if you have corel draw or something like it you can export as a jpeg.  try this in other programs as well. painter actually lets you create jpeg files.  in powerpoint you do have the option of saving your work as a  jpeg when choosing (save as).   i use a mac and this option is available for us, unfortunately  i don’t know about pc.  but give it a try.  lots of luck
