ISBN hardcover vs. ISBN paperback on Blurb

Does anyone know how to solve this quandry?

I am trying to put separate ISBNs on the hardcover version and the paperback version of the same book on Blurb.  Because Blurb prints both versions from one Booksmart file, I don’t know if this is possible.

My question is: is it possible to create two separate covers (one for hardcover, one for paperback), each with its own ISBN on Blurb?

I suppose one (not very elegant) solution would be to upload two versions, and only sell one as hardcover and only sell the other as paperback.

I’ve already purchased the ISBNs and had them translated into barcodes and .gif files that I am dropping onto the back cover of the book, and I’ve read through most of the postings and FAQs about ISBNs on this forum and the Blurberati blog, but have not found an answer to this problem.

Help?

You’ll need to make two separate projects.

Unfortunately you’ll also have to buy two copies. Not very elegant, but that is the way of it.
