Still confused about Blurb ICC profile

Hello  to all.

I use Adobe RGB profile and RAW out of camera. Convert into tiff and in Photoshop convert into sRGB ICC. Then I swich on soft proof with Blurb ICC profile.

My question is:

Should I do all contrast, color, masking, etc.  activities with proof ON? Does it mean, I see final result on my monitor (I calibrate my NEC with Spectra View II)?When I finish my adjustment work, my picture is still sRGB saving as jpg with ICC checkbox OFF.

My trouble is:

Now I have lot of rich and deep green colors of lawns, trees, plants in sRGB and viewing in ICC all change into blueish, washed, hazy greens. I can do what I want with curves, light, color balance, but no same result as seen in sRGB.

Hope my English makes sense.

Thank you for assistance.

Some additional information – proof setup with perceptual is slighly richer than relative colorimetric. Any important difference?
