CENTERING - REQUEST TO BLURB
There are many posts about how to center items on pages using the templates. I’m using the InDesign template for standard landscape – the book will measure 10″×8″
The height of the page in the template is 8" but the width is 9.5". The MAGENTA = Margin Safe Art Boundary is 8.625" wide. On a right-hand page, the margin on the left is .865" and the margin on the left-hand side is .25".
In answer to the many questions about this issue, Blurb staff members offer various suggestions. Why doesn’t Blurb just include a center guide that accounts for trim, etc?
It would be a big help!
I am thinking that might be impossible to do since they can’t guarantee where the pages will be cut for bdining. Without total standardization of the product, center will always be shifting a bit……
I’m kinda worried myself for how my final book will look.
