Book Design and Imaging

Hi, Im new here and need advice

I dont have inDesign and I need to make a book for a Uni animation project in Blurb. I have found a website for templates for Photoshop, but I wanted to doublecheck with anyone here if they are correct.

I assume the areas in the middle of each page where there are the big four squares are where my content fits and that the areas outside of that are lost.

Do I take it the gutters (where there are two lines close together) are the borders of the page and I should keep everything inside them?

You don’t say what shape or size pages and I really have some misgivings about downloading some one’s templates who I don’t know.

If you go through the blurb site and search on page sizes you will be taken to a list of the full bleed sizes for various book sizes. Move back ⅛" for cuts and another ⅛" for a safety zone where needed and you should be fine.
