Book Design and Imaging

Cover

Im desiging my book in indesign and will be "tranfering" my pages to book smart. Quick question on the cover, are there no "templates" that are blank for the spine and dust sleeves. It appears as if I can only put a full bleed image on the front and back and not on the spine or sleeves.

Thanks

I need help with this too! I and designing a hard cover book, and my client wants to use their logo and have a bunch of camera negatives in the back ground. Any way around the template? I dont want to write text on there, I want to design my own!

Just to add my vote, I would LOVE to have a cover template that allowed full bleeds on all five sections (or even better, a single image bleed across the entire cover.) I’m certain every other person who uses Photoshop or InDesign for layout would agree!

Hey
I am having a similar problem. I would prefer a blank cover. I was able to do this on an older Blurb book I made last year.
Is there hope? Anyone give you any info on this?
