Physical dimensions of books

I will be ordering 10×8 hardcover books, approx. 130 to 160 pages and need the physical dimensions so I can make a box for it. Anyone know? I need the depth as well as the width and height.

Blurberati Blog article “Look no further for full-bleed page specs”
http://blurberatiblog.com/index.php/2007/04/24/look-no-further-for-full-bleed-page-specs/

The specs is discussed in details about dimensions of layout etc. Do you plan to design your own customized full-bleed layout on your computer with Photoshop or InDesign, no?

On a final note, you know, you could conduct a search query on the topic through few possible venues: Blurb Booksmart’s Help (that will leads you to Blurb website – Help link), or if you look up in the links above the forums, “Help”. Other option: search Blurb forums. Other option is: Blurberati Blog articles. In fact, this topic has been often discussed all over the forums and on blog articles as well.

Hope that helps and good luck.
Cheers, Brian

CJZ,

I just measured a 120 page book I did and it measures 10" W X 8 5/16" H X 9/16" thick. It’s a landscape. Another that’s 195 pages measures just under 3/4" thick.  A portrait book had the same dimensions in reverse, 8 5/16" W X 10" H.  The thickness meas. was with the pages held hand tight.

Thanks to all, I needed the outside measurements of the physical book especially the thickness but having the actual page sizes will help in the future.
