Book Design and Imaging

Photo as a background (wallpaper) to another photo

I would like to use a photo (one of my photos) as a background/wallpaper to another photo.

I researched the bacground options but I only noted colours and some standard graphics being offered.  Is there a way to use my own photos as a background to other photos?  If so, how should I proceed?

Best regards, Klare

Hi Klare;

Only way you can do this (at this time) is to create the montaged image in PhotoShop (or similar), flatten it, save it as a JPEG (or PNG if you want a transparent background) and import that image as a regular file into a BookSmart template…

Good luck;

Hi,

Would this also apply if I have my own custom border that I would like to import, and still have photos and text within that border?

Ideally, I would like to use the booksmart layouts, just import my own border.

Is this possible?

Currently you cannot import your own borders.  If you’re really interested in having this option, I would suggest posting a recommendation – http://www.blurb.com/help/feedback – so Blurb may consider it in a future release if there is enough interest.

Good Luck!
