Charles, there is a good video that shows you how to create a Blurb book, including how to put pictures in it. Perhaps you could watch that with your family and they will be able to help in creating your book. You will find it here…. http://www.blurb.com/help/video/booksmart ........Tony

Hello Charles; I get the distinct impression that you think you are creating your book HERE !!! You’re NOT ! THIS place is simply a discussion forum, and NOT the place to enter your book’s text… I suggest you follow the tutorial that Tony noted above… Lee
first of all i’am doing what they said if not then this should not be misleading
why do they talk so much about a book if you can’t write a book/
Charles, Can I ask you a specific question, who is “they”? I am sorry, but please, please AND please take Lee and Tony’s advice. Please have a LOOK at the link that Tony put a frame of reference. Did you successfully downloaded the file, BookSmart. With BookSmart running, you WILL be able to make a book in there. Not through the forum here. Good luck with your bookmaking project. Have a good one!
Hi Charles; With respect, you are clearly NOT "doing what they said" and the process is NOT "misleading" ... You can open an account and download the BookSmart software from here... [click on link] Then, as already suggested, you can watch a good introductory tutorial video on how to make a book here... [clcik on link] By all means, if you have questions about "How to" do these things, come on back to the Forum, but you really should watch the video, and read through the FAQs first… Good luck; Lee
Hi again Charles; It struck me that you must already have created an account to be able to post on the Forum; so, all you need to do (apart from watch the video) is open up the BookSmart software that you should have installed on your PC when you initially created the account… Go to Start, All Programs, BookSmart, BookSmart… If you didn’t install the software for any reason, then go to your HOME page at the head of this Forum and select the "Download" link from the Right Hand Side of the Home page display… Or, go right there… [click on link] Cheers; Lee
lee i thank you i have tried everything but i still can’t post any pictures in this book my book is a book is on research of a family.
Hi Charles; Have you watched the video? That explains ALL there is to do in BookSmart ! Are you trying to add a picture to a book in the BookSmart software – not here ? In the Edit Workspace of BookSmart (check the button bottom right… If it says "Edit Book" then you are in Preview Mode, and you need to click to get back to edit mode… Select any page icon from the Page Navigator at the bottom of the screen. If that’s not open, go to Main Menu; View; Page Navigator… Select a page, then top left of the Edit screen under "Apply Page Layout", select "Picture Layouts" from the drop-down box, and then select any icon you think will suit your purpose from the drop down list… NOTE that it goes way down… use the slider to see more… Does that do it ? Cheers; Lee
