Book Design and Imaging

Continuing a picture over a 2 page spread

I design my own pages in photoshop and am looking for a photobook which allows me to get a picture design printed over a two page spread, I’ve wasted lods of time and money getting books printed that look fine in the software’s preview but invaraibly when he book is printed the pictures don’t line up! As a pro-photographer who’s looking for a budget-end photo book for my wedding customers I’m becoming increasingly despondent!

Can anyone tell me if there is a way to place the photo over two pages and if so, once done, whether the books open out flat once printed so I don’t lose some of the picture.

 Many thanks

L: Have you seen this tutorial? It involves eye judgement but is easy to do.

A fellow Blurb user wrote this tutorial for doing it mathematically (i.e., not by eye) in Photoshop – it’s brilliant!
