Colors Showing as Black in Preview Mode - Exported from Indesign
Hi, I just exported my pdf to book file from indesign cs3. I checked it out in the preview mode, but most of the colors are showing up as black. Am I doing something wrong?

Perhaps. The most common cause of this is that your images are in CMYK mode. Convert them to sRGB.

My images are actually fine, it’s things like text and colored shapes that I made in indesign that are black. I feel like the colors would be better off in CMYK for printing purposes…why would I use sRGB?

Can you tell me what you did to fix the problem? I’m encountering somewhat similar problems in Preview Mode, if not worse, with a black colored background and mismatched colors. Your solution might help me. Thanks.
