Background color for Cover

Can anyone help me.  I recently received my first book and cover background color was bright purple, not the indigo I choose on custom colors.  I downloaded the ICC color profile, but don’t know how to apply it to my existing book cover in booksmart, so I can see how my  book will look in print.  Any help would be appreciated.
