One photo on two pages

Hi,

Can’t find how to get one photo on two pages. Have any amongst you some ideas ?

The basic concept is pretty simple…you prep one photo and then cut it in half and put one of the halves on one page and the other half on the other page.

In PhotoShop the way I do it is (for a Full Bleed, Standard Landscape page) is prepare the image on a canvas sized to 5,776 X 2475. After the image is what I want it to be I resize the canvas to 2888 X 2475, left anchor. This gives me the left side of the image. I save that. Then I move the image across the canvas to the other side and save that.

If you don’t have Photoshop or other image editing software Raymond have a read of this FAQ for an alternative approach.

Not used it yet, and assume the software treats each page as individual and not the box frames created to insert photo’s. If the picture insertion box was treated as individual and allowed to move across the two open pages, it would be alot easier to do this without needing to edit a photo and import two images to ensure alignment occurs.
