Book Printing

How long will a book last?

I asked customer service a week ago and never got a response so I’ll ask here.

Can I expect a book to still have good color etc… in 20 years? My children are still little. I love the idea of photobooks for myself, but if they are no good by the time the kids move out, I should probably just stick to prints for myself and save the photobooks for grandparents and such.

anybody want to offer a guess on the life expectancy of the ink and paper blurb uses?

thanks!

Hi Amber, Indigo printed products outperform traditional offset prints for permanence.  So you can expect your Blurb books to last like a bookstore-quality book.

Best,

So, Blurb wedding books easily outlast the average marriage, right?

^ LOL.

That’s good to know though, Bruce. Didn’t realize that about Indigo printed products.
