Book Printing

Received my first book copy and its great

I am overall very happy with my 10X8 soft cover book. At some point, I had changed my Nikon D40X setting to AdobeRGB. I could not really tell any difference in the print quality of  sRGB and AdobeRGB, by and large the color balance I had set translated nicely to the printed page. The cover photos printed slightly darken than the Photos inside but on viewing by reflected sunlight on a nice spring day with the birds singing they looked perfectly normal. The only thing, I would like Blurb to use a heavier paper stock for the soft covers, this cover tends to curl up.

I just took delivery on a hard cover copy of my book. I was very pleased with the quality, especially the cover photos. I understand blurb uses a different printer for the dust jacket of hard cover books. The cover photos had the correct lighting and color balance as opposed to the darker photos on the soft cover.
