Advice on printing architectural line drawings

I’m designing a book of my architectural work which contains a big number of plans, sections and other CAD drawings, and am wondering what is the best way of bringing these drawings into booksmart?

I printed a book recently in which I exported PDF vector drawings into 300dpi png in Adobe Illustrator, but these came out choppy and with a blurry  yellowish tint .

Is there a better way of doing this? has anyone had any experience with printing these types of drawings?

Thanks,

Omer

Hello Omer;

I don’t have any experience on this front – so can’t directly help you; but…

There are 75 books listed under "Architectural" in the BookStore…

You may want to take a look at those and see if anybody else has done what you’re after, and maybe Blurb could put you in touch with the author…

Unfortunately, there’s no facility to send "personal messages" under this forum’s system… and e-mail addresses are rarely published. (You can check a users profile – sometimes thay add an e-mail address…)

Good luck;

Lee
