Positive review with pics

I just received my first Blurb book, a 8×10 landscape imagewrap. It was ordered on June 6th, shipped on June 10th, and arrived June 11th. Much faster than I expected! It helped that it was printed in WA, my state of residence.

First impression upon pulling it from the shrink wrap is that it was a bit matte, I know others have had complaints on this and I thought it would be OK for me because I prefer lustre photos, but this is even more than I expected. Still, I think it looks very nice, and will still hold up better than a dust cover. I will use imagewrap again next time I make a book.

The binding and wrap around the edges are well done. No defects that are noticeable to me, anyway, except the spine, noted in Cons.

Colors seem good except for a few sandy beach pictures that are too yellow. I’ll have to look at them on the computer—that may be my fault. I did add extra fill light to all my photos and I’m glad I did. They are just right, none too light or dark.

Pros:
Amazing book, impressive, beautiful, sleek, all those nice things.

Cons:
-Imagewrap material is a little soft and matte, even for me.
-Barcode on the back detracts from my beautiful full bleed photo
-The inner margins of the pages go in a little deep-next time I’ll bring my photos out more.
-The spine is offcenter a tiny bit—it’s about 1/16" more toward the front cover than the back.

 can i ask a quessie re binding , is your book glued or stitched and how sturdy is the binding?
