Book Printing

Extra blank pages at the end of the book?

I just got my 108-page, Imagewrap, Premium Paper, 10×8 inch book.

After the very last page, there’s a colorful page with the words "SLIP PAGE" (or something to that effect—at work and don’t have the book with me)  and about 20-30 blank pages afterwards.  Is this normal?

 Thanks!

Hi there  Peterjun,

That does sound unusual. I’ve had two books from Blurb so far, although not as many pages as you mention, and I’ve not seen that.

Sounds like a message to customer services might be in order!

 Good luck!

It actually says "SLIP SHEET".

Yeah, it seemed weird.  I thought it was part of the printing process.  The books are lovely otherwise and my family members love them.

It seems to me that it might be something that is meant to be removed by the printers or something. I’d be interested to hear what Blurb have to say…
