Book Printing

A Reference Book: Full bleed pages, fonts, color and more - Total Control

I’m making available two reference books: “Booksmart – Total Control 7×7” and “Booksmart – Total Control 10×8.” My price is only $2 over cost and I pledge that 100% of the profits will go to The Salvation Army and Habitat for Humanity.

I created these reference books because of questions I had and I didn’t want to spend days creating a book and then be disappointed when I got it. How does the color that Blurb outputs compare to the color I see on my monitor? What about putting fonts directly on the images I provide? If I do full page bleeds, how accurate is Blurb’s trimming and centering? Is PNG better than JPEG? Is there an easy way to do two page spreads? What if someone doesn’t have Photoshop? See the book descriptions for much more detail.
