Need Help - getting a book from my account transferred to friend's account
I have published a book for myself. I am working on one for a friend & started it in my account. When I publish it I want it in her account so she gets profits. At first I thought I could back up her book onto a CD, then open an account for her & import her book. I have opened a blurb account for her but she does not have a read-write CD rom drive on her computer so I guess this won’t work?? Any suggestions? Am I just missing something here? Thanks, Sandy

vintagegirl, Go to help and search "export book file". It’ll show you how to move your book from one computer to another. Unless it’s a huge book, you should be able to export it via either a flash drive or external HD.

dagree’s suggestion is a good one. A couple other things you could do. - Have you tried to re-upload the book to the account you created for her?
- Also, if she needs to edit the book first, you could also try exporting the book (select "Backup/Export Book" under the File menu in BookSmart) and then send it to her electronically by way of a service like You Send It, as long as the file is 2GB or smaller (which is definitely possible).
