international rules

just a little confused and was wondering if someone could help straighten this out.

I am from Australia and wish to publish a technical training manual for a 3d animation program. I do not need to sell it on the blurb bookstore as i have an audience i can easily market to myself.

The question is…. am i eligible to do this, as i vaguely read somewhere in your faq that outside US countries do not apply yet?

If i am able to sell this book to people around the world, can i have them link to a page where they can order

automatically and have the book sent to them, and royalties sent to me?

or is this part of the bookstore now? and i am outside of the US and thus not elegible to apply?

If so can i take the orders and pay blurb to print and send to different addresses?

a little confused, hope i have made my questions understandable

thanks in advance for taking the time

Cheers

Christian

Blurb’s royalty program (Set Your Price) is currently available to individuals with a US tax ID or US social security number. We need to capture this information as it is required by the IRS for reporting revenue earned at the close of every year. We are currently researching the revenue reporting requirements of each country and will begin to extend the program to additional countries in the near future.

Click here for additional information on Blurb’s Set Your Price program.

That said we do have authors who purchase in bulk and distribute themselves.  I’m not sure if this meets your needs but wanted to pass it on as a possible solution that work for many Blurb authors today.

Along with Norcaljhawk’s comment, perhaps that you want to submit a feedback or input, using Suggestion or Feedback contact form.

The more feedback or input, the better outcome in a long run, I believe.

For any overseas Blurb consumers/participants, you ARE encouraged to submit the contact form for that issue as well. More, the better! That is what I think.
